WindowBlinds 11.04 Release Feedback Thread

With the WindowBlinds 11.04 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining the product

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager 

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen

  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post.  Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.

  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Firstly: (I have a soft tone to my voice) I am 59 that has been around computers since 1984. I know I few things but not software. Secondly; I'm having issues with WinBlinds for months now. I use x2 monitors and I'm having issues. WinBlinds does not load correctly. I have my main monitor selected via Windows but WinBlinds does not launch into my primary. And there are times where the start 11 application doesn't show at all on my main AND at times both Monitors? I'm thinking it's not Start 11 but I'm probably wrong. It only happens when installing WinBlinds and applying WinBlinds. I Uninstalled/reinstalled WinBlinds. Everything is updated. Currently I don't even use WinBlinds anymore:'(  

I'm not mad at all. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance|-)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is best if you create your own new thread so we can help you there. Posting in a general thread will get confuse with others comment on another thing. Please create your new thread and include few more details. We will try to help your from that thread. Details needed.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get this numbers.
  2. Windowblinds full version number.
  3. Start11 full version number.
  4. Please post few screenshot showing us your issue. Preferably, while using skin that come with Windowblinds applied. Such as Diamond etc.
  5. Any specific steps you need to take to make the issue appear in your system? Or was it appear all the time etc. Elaborate more.
