Email signup infinite loop for beta install

So I pre-ordered SC:O through Steam, and installed the separate Melee Beta.

Starting that takes me to a screen that asks me to sign up for a mailing list (which seems just a little slimy to me, but whatever).  I have. 

It then tells me I need to click on the confirmation email link before continuing in the Stardock Launcher.  I have.

It then persistently tells me I REALLY need to click the confirmation email before continuing.  This never goes away.

I've now tried 4 different times.  I've waited up to 15 minutes after clicking the confirm link in the latest email before hitting "continue" in the launcher.  No difference.

I don't see anyone else reporting the same problem.  Am I just doing something wrong, or is something broken today...?

Incidentally, I wonder if my Windowblinds license from 1999 will get me an upgrade discount for Object Desktop.

(Just kidding, just picked it up - great work guys and I really doubt I would have if it weren't for your work on SC:O!)

This sounds like it might be some weirdness on the part of the server. If you are still having trouble can I ask you to join the Discord server here and direct message me. It's the fastest way for me to check that everything is as it should be on your end and we can get you setup properly.
