Crusade - Handy Trait %

Handy trait gives: +20% / +15% / -15% / -30%

Loigically should be: +30% / +15% / -15% / -30%

Many of the traits seem very blah, and out of balance with a few powerful traits. I can't imagine anyone choosing some of them except to nerf custom opponents

I agree with you on the handy btw.

Many traits have +2 being not as positive as -2 is a negative. I am OK with that and feel fine leaving it to our devs.

I tend to agree with @neilkaz, if negative traits are more negative than positive traits are positive, it tends to deter players from using too many negative traits to boost other positive traits.  That could be a deliberate design choice by the developers that I would respect.  Of course if the developers didn't consciously design it that way, I'd have to retract my comments.

It sure felt like a deliberate decision when I first noticed it.  And it did mellow out some of my severe trait choices, so I thought it was effective.  :)

The positive/negative traits work fine as far as I'm concerned. It is the pick 2 choices that I believe are out of balance with some excellent picks and a lot of mehh choices

End of Franco's quote

I agree there are some excellent ability picks.  Strangely, other people think that my favorites are stupid and that their favorites are overpowered.  And then I see more comments that those overpowered abilities are useless, there are some others that are better.  As long as there is this much debate, I have to wonder if the developers haven't hit a good balance.  :D
