1.41 AI has Negative Durantium in diplomacy screen

Hi Devs,

I am playing a new game with version 1.41.  One of the AI players started spamming my planets and stations with ships, so out of curiosity, I went into diplomacy to see how negative their credits were by owning so many ships.  To my surprise, they had 22706 credits in the green lol.  But I also noticed negative (-24) durantium they had available to trade with.  Not sure if the negative durantium is a bug but I thought I would report it.

PS Thanks for adding the wheel to prefs.

What turn were you on? Seen this myself where the AI's have been trading with each other for resource use and the time has ended (50 turns).

This is actually normal, and I have had it happen to me. You can have negative resources depending on whether or not you traded for them and how you used them.

For example, if you started with 0 Durantium, traded with an AI for 20, used all 20 in ship building or Durantium Refineries, and then declared war on the AI that you got the durantium from, then your quantity will go to -20. This is because when your treaties involving these resources end, unused resources return to their original owner, and declaring war is the quickest way to end treaties. Essentially, you "owe" resources.

Another way to pull this off is trade away resources, or build ships then to destroy, or get your starbases destroyed. If you trade away your resources, and then destroy the starbases, then their should be a diplomacy hit with whoever you did this to. Also, they wouldn't keep trading with you until you fix this.
