I wonder if anyone can help me with the following:


1.  if I receive as a gift the game Galactic Civilization 3 Elite Founder's Edition, I'll have access to all content that will develop in the future or receive only the base game.

2.  What account should I use to access the contents of the Founder's Elite Edition?

Do I use the account of the person who bought it, or the account of the person receiving the game as a gift?

3.   Who receives future expansions, the account of the person who purchased it, or account of the person receiving the game as a gift?

Hi Gus_89.   Don't worry about writing errors. When I was in Italy for 15 months in 1964-1965, I doubt I was able to write in Italian intelligibly then, much less now. I have a great deal of respect for people that can write in more than one language. I had no problem with your writing at all. And I will sometimes check the profile of a poster, just to try to get a sense of his/her primary language as an aid to understand what they are saying better. I notice that your profile says "no information" for location.

Of course, I am not the best person to answer your questions. That would be the sales people at StarDock. At the bottom of the home page www.stardock.com there is a link "contact us" that will give you access to a form that will create and send an email to them. (I think the email address is "sales@stardock.com" if you would like to communicate to them directly, but I am not certain.)

Your questions, on the other hand, seem to be very common sense, so I will take the risk of being wrong and tell you how I think they will be answered by StarDock:

1. From what StarDock has announced, my guess is that you will have access to all of the content that will be provided to all Elite Founders.

2. I would certainly expect you to use your own account. Using the gifter's account can raise security issues.

3. If you tie the gift to your account, I would expect you to receive all of the benefits announced for an Elite Founder, which includes the Alpha and Beta tests, naming your own star, and all future expansions and DLCs.

As I said, these are purely guesses on my part.

It is a joke.

In summary they told me that while the game is registered with my email, I receive all the benefits of editing founders.

they also told me I should enter the account that received the game as a gift.

I hope that if anyone has the same question this can help.
