Defense platform damage type

Can anyone help me on this? I am searching the internets and have not found anything useful, it is not featured in the ship counter tables if I remember correctly.

What are the modifiers of point defense platforms against ship types? I noticed it is doing great against light frigates and is poor against corvettes and scouts. Is it a "long range frigate" type, or has it's own unique modifiers?

And what about the TEC hangar defense? Is it an anti-fighter platform when you put weapons on it?

The static defenses (Advent Beam Turret, TEC Gauss Turret, Vasari Phase Missile Turret) do CapitalShip damage, which is, not surprisingly, the type of damage capital ships deal.

The TEC hangar defense upgrade does antiverylight which is the same as the Garda Flak Frigate and other anti fighter frigates.
