PLanet entity files and bonus lists

Does the order you list a planets bonuses in its entity file affect the frequency which with they will appear.

For instance if I put spice trade at the top of desert planets entity file will it appear more often then bonuses beneath it?

Or is it completely random which will appear?

No but if you put spice trade in more than once it should increase the odds it is chosen.

Just FYI this method will make it rare but possible to have two of the same bonus on one planet. However, I use it all the time and if I get two Spice trades I just think that its more valuable spice or something when it happens.  ;)

Thanks Im tweaking the bonuses planets get the levels they get them and the max bonus list so that each planet is a little different. I redid the entier colonization process so that things like atmospheric, gravitational, magnetic or meteorites always pop on scan, surface conditions always pop on colonize, deposits, rare resources subterranean caverns and the like appear on first explore and anything artificial appears on 2nd explore. Im also upping the max bonus count on each planet to 4 for some varied and unique planets.

That's not what that does. That's used for setting up bonuses that will always appear on the planet, like Pirate's treasure on the pirate base. Unmodded Sins its usually set to 0.  ;)

You'll crash your game if you increase it without adding another bonus to require, and having it over 3 likely won't have any effect.

You want to increase the artifact research level in the planet entity file. Then give appropriate increases to artifacts or bonuses you want available at that level.

Edit - I should also point out if you want the more random bonuses in a map you'll need to set the bonus density higher in the *.galaxy files.
