[Kudos] Improved tactical pathing - thank you
Thanks for improving the tactical pathing. I've noticed my units don't get in each other's way as they do in FE.

I still think slightly bigger battlefields are needed, especially in sieges when all the defender units have to squeeze in, usually they end up getting squeezed out off map
I like the fields the size they are, and the new spawn-right-on-top-of-each-other start to the battle. Gets them over quicker
. But to each there own. The tactical battles are, overall, better now, I think.
Well the problem is when they enemy defenders get squeezed off the map, they can't move, or take their turn, and you can't kill them at least not without a bow or a very long range spell, and even that I'm not sure off, I've just been killing all of their army that I can reach, then autoresolving the rest for the units off grid.
Thats due to a spawn bug. All maps support 12 units, and that's the max that's supposed to be able to go int a battle. But a bug was causing multiple city defenders to spawn, which is why you are seeing the off the map issue.
Can't you get way more then 12 defenders in a city.
If you have a fortress with the wall upgrades I think the city gives you like 7 defenders and then you can station 9 of your own guys. Add in a catapult and that is now 17 units on defense. I might be wrong on the exact number but it is easy to get past 12 on a city after it has been upgraded to a fort.
Is there any way to raise the max, or create super-special mapfields for when it is over 12? Or is this too many engineering hours?
