Disappointed with election night...

I like the game overall, but was disappointed to find that election night went by pretty quickly and allowed for little suspense. It might be taboo to bring up another election game, but since I don't think it's around anymore, I will - Power Politics had it right. Every state's results was brought up in a different window and you could see what your margin was before going on to the next state. It added some suspense to the whole ordeal because you could draw out election night as long as you wanted.

But unfortunately, in this game, the electoral college goes by so fast, you blink and you've either won or lost.

I don't know...maybe I'm the only one who finds that a bit annoying. I would've liked to go through the electoral college at my own pace, look at the states as they came in instead of watching each state pass on by in a matter of seconds.

I think personally the suspense from it is sufficient...however I'd like to see like a system where say there is a counter for popular vote then the state switches to the color of which ever candidate won the electoral votes...

Yeah. I thought I'd be in the minority. I don't know, you invest weeks into a campaign and then results are over in a nanosecond it feels like. I'd like to have the ability to draw it out as long, or short, as possible. That's just me, though.

I guess that's campaigning, you make good points for expanding election night process but I still found it very suspenseful going through each state, especially if your states are scattered or don't come in till later
