Game Type Victory Capital World bugged?

I have recently been playing this game type with my friends and we have noticed that even though you take out their capital planet. You will get a message that we have taken out an enemy home world, but after all enemy home worlds are gone the game is not ending.  it usually takes us a bit more time to take more of their worlds out before the game will end.  This is not how its supposed to act, the game should end as soon as all home worlds are taken out.

 

anyone else encountered this?

Did you have locked teams or allied victory on?  If you didn't have locked teams on, then the game would not end unless you had allied victory on...

Also it seems to take a couple of moments for the flagship and capital planet defeats.

Doesn't take too long to bring up the task manager and kill sins...
