"Of course there is going to be a sequel"

"Of course there is going to be a sequel"

Or so says Gaming Nexus.

Wait..  What?  I mean, that's awesome, but is this confirmed or are they just guessing?  Obviously I'd love to see a Sins II built on a new engine with multi-threading and 64bit, but umm...  Is this for real?  They said they were working on Sins of a Dark Age before anything else, so does that mean that they're planning on coming back afterwards?  I mean, we'd been assuming that if it happened, that's when it would happen, but if this is real, then we have something to look forward to and I can stop saying "wait for Sins II if/when it happens."

Just wondering if this is some random reviewer's speculation or serious..

TerribleNate:

RTS titles have limited complexity due to the whole "real time" thing - unless you're a tweaker there's only so much empire management you can do while still handling combat. A turn based strategy game can offer far greater complexity in non-combat operations.

RTS should be the gold standard for combat, though. Turn-based empire management and RTS combat - sexy.
