Can't play by yourself anymore?

I don't usually drop games because of a mild issue, but I used this option COUNTLESS times. Just a classic player vs. pirates. I guess not anymore. Just like in galactic civilization, you could not continue after you beated the match, cause I want to see myself actually rule the galaxy, not just be assured that the galaxy will take care of itself.

What the hell. Hope they fix this.

What? There's a continue game button at the end -.-

No you can't. I'm not sure why they changed it, but you can get around it with custom maps. This one is intended for newer players, but I tried to make it fairly interesting for anyone. The only AI is stuck at his homeworld, but you can still win the game by research or occupation victory, or by using a hidden one way worm hole.

WTF was the point of removing the keep playing button?

I'll clear it up.

In the new version of Sins (Rebellion), you can no longer play with yourself. You have to have at least 1 other AI player.

I was referencing to Galactic Civilizations 2, where Stardock made it so you can't continue the game after you beated everyone. It was fun to rule the world in Civilization IV, why not rule the galaxy in Galactic Civ 2?

It's questionable.

What is Stardock doing in the other versions these abilities were in game? I think I may just make a map for this why Im on my vacation plane flight. It's gonna have pirates so you need a military scarce resource and all that good stuff needed to survive. If I do finish it I send you a link :D

Make map without pirates and AIs. This way you can rUL3 7|-|3 94L4><'/.

but in rebellion you NEED at least ONE opponent otherwise GAME-OVER, so the best answer (in rebellion) is a custom map with one trapped ai.

oh and maybe try changing topic title

I refuse to read the content of the post... the title is just too damn funny to not troll this in epic quality.

I'm not an epic troll, but I'll give it a shot.

Wait... There is no "Keep Playing" option?  I rather like having a map with 3-4 pirate bases or heavy bases full of Imperials, KohrAh, TCA or Advent-militia and having a stomp on them when done killing AI.  Often for testing, I'll start up a tester map, use dev.exe to view all planets, then kill all Ai entities and occupy their planet... game over -then go about just testing stuff.

Stardock, you have a game available on Steam... that alone dictates (no pun intended) that you should be able to play with yourself.

Yeah going a away for like a week and the plane flight is like 6 hours. I think Im going to make a big map (really big) and 2 versions. 1 for people who like pirates and all that stuff and another with just you exploring .

playing BY yourself and WITH yourself are two very different things... all of your hints at double entendres are invalid...

more on topic, i was able to continue on a map (Storm Front) after wiping out the enemy and the pirates completely. i had eyes on every planet and there were absolutely no enemy units of any kind. it had prompted me with the victory screen and options to end the game or keep playing, so i dunno what you guys are complaining about
