Fallen Enchantress 0.91 changelog

Bugs:

+ Fixed an issue with the strategic version of the Wellspring spell

+ You can no longer choose the Iron Golem animation pack when creating a custom sovereign

+ Fix for white screen issues

+ Fixed the compass bonus so it correctly applies to the entire army

+ Fixed an issue with Hunters and Mercenaries having no unit models when they take damage in tactical

+ Fixed the Heartseeker reward on the Arena of the Slakhanan quest

+ Fixed an issue keeping the Abandoned Dig quest from progressing

+ Dispel Enchantment now correctly requires the tech to unlock it

+ Berserk correctly does 1 damage per round to the target

+ Fixed an issue where designed units don't get a sound pack assigned

+ Fixed an issue where designed units don't get their tech requirement set

 

Cosmetic:

+ Corrects the provides tag on the Guardian abilities.

+ Mana Maintenance is displayed on Enchanted Hammers now (and it doesn't have a cooldown anymore)

+ Fixed a typo in town halls provides tag

+ Shrunk Fire Elementals in tactical slightly

 

AI:

+ AI will expand more aggressively

Whoa !     It's Friday morning, and 9:00 am ... and now I am already seeing a Changelog for V0.91 !  :omg:

Well, Frogboy did say in another thread (yesterday) that a host of additional new changes would be coming fast and furious, in the near term. 

Still, the Mind Boggles ...      :D         :thumbsup:

I'm hoping it'll expand aggressively but sensibly.  And I don't mean that it'll establish outposts as chokepoints to keep you out of a large swath of territory in which it hopes to grow.  Because "scouts to mountain passes-->pioneers put up chokepoints-->ruler keeps you out" is very gamey, in my opinion.

 

At least, when the AI does it.  When I do it, it's brilliant strategic thinking, of course.

The AI needs some actual intelligence. I'm beginning to think the setting of "Challenging" is more reflective on the AI's state of mind rather than the game difficulty.

  • Empire declares war on me. They have over double the points that I do. They never attack. I wander into their realm with 3 people (sovereign and 2 heroes) and wipe them out easily in two battles.
  • Exact same story for another empire. Except they had triple the points that I did. Still I just wandered into their realm without them even putting up a fight.

Please test the AI on tiny maps!

Is it possible to upgrade the number of ppl in a group now? I havent gotten to play 0.9 yet. It is so sad when one of my long used armies becomes obsolete cause I cannot have more than the original 3 ppl in them.

Was that the world difficulty or the enemy difficulty.  They are different settings.  Easy is the default now.

I hope the white screen fix helps those experiencing that. Sounds like some people are seeing many fewer crashes while others are getting them more often. A never ending bug battle there!

Need to change text on recruiting level 5 heroes. Still says need "recruiting", I see that tech has been changed to be called "Heroes" now.

Haven't tried the new version yet but it doesn't seem like these issues were fixed, anyone else having these problems>>>

 

Using Gilden when I try to design a golem unit, it won't save. So I can't train golems.

 

When shrinking an enemy in combat and than killing that enemy, the battle wont end. I have to hit the autoplay button to end the battle.

 

When fighting and defeating monsters, the graphics for the lairs of those monsters will disappear after the battle and you go back to the world map, until you move onto it or click on it or something.

Any chance the infinite negatives (infinite turns with negative initiative) gets fixed? Since its a fairly major bug I reckon (even had a crash thanks to negative initiative after slowing an AI in tactical)? Also other stuff in the game seems to go bonkers when going into negative balance...
