Ultimate - does DA have the ToA AI problems?

If I install the Ultimate version, and only run DA not ToA (by using the DA exe file directly), will DA have the AI problems with certain races that ToA has? In other words, does installing ToA overwrite DA files, or do they remain separate?

They remain separate. DA will not have TA's AI problems whether you get it on its own or play it through Ultimate Edition.
