If I own Trinity, are Entrenchment features in the game when I play Diplomacy?

OK, as you might have guessed I got this on Steam.  When I click play I'm given three options: 

 

Play Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity

Play Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment 

Play Sins of a Solar Empire

 

I've gathered that selecting Trinity at least affords the Diplomacy features, but I don't know if I'm getting the Entrenchment features too.  Does anyone know off-hand or know of something I can look for in the game that would show me it has Entrenchment's features?

 

Or are you simply forced to choose between having a bunch of new defensive options OR diplomacy?  That would suck.

Playing Diplomacy grants all the features of both expansions.
