Some odd bugs with ACP, DF, AB, EF mods loaded

Guys,

I just added in the Distinct factions (DF) and Additional Buildings (AB) to ACP and Extended Factions on 1.19b and I have noticed the following oddities/bugs.

1. Noplat (NPC from ACP) has a bad face texture. He also is triggering a second spear in shops (this in new with the DF/AD mods added and did not occur in a few previous games).

2. A biggie. No bows. As of this test game there is no Tech line for bows using the Kingdom. The help system also shows no prereq for them either. This is definately new with the two new mods.

3. Early padded armours are not showing up and some armour seems to duplicate. Playing as Capitar, my first tech in armour jumped me into leather. In earlier games the padded stuff was opened up via the first "weapon" tech with the spears.

Other then those minor items, your mods have made this game rock! Keep up the awesome work.

Sounds like stuff from Distinct Factions. I highly doubt any of that is because of AB. Anyways, DF is kind of in a beta phase right now to iron out these problems. Which kingdom were you playing as? Or do bows not show up for anyone? As each kingdom now has it's own tech tree, I'll need to know who specifically you're seeing this on (Capitar right now, have you played others?).

Not sure about the Noplat thing, I've noticed some weirdness with regards to the info cards...sometimes it seems like it doesnt render the body's skin (when the face is still good). However, you said something is bad with his face texture. How is it bad? Is it all white, all black?

I'll have a look at Capitar, and look through the others to see if I can find the problem with bows/armor.

 

EDIT: Ok, found the problem with archery. This will be fixed for the next version (coming in the next day or two). The armor thing I'm not seeing under Capitar, it looks right to me.

I'll see if I can grab a couple of screen shots (assuming I can figure out how to post them). Playing as Capitar in this test game. I can check some others as I go this week. Noplat, in my game has a vertical bar like texture on his face.

Is there a way to "view" the techs in game with different factions active or do you need to start a game as each to get the correct setup in the help book?

I am playing as New Pariden with DF and noticed some wierdness as well.  It seems that they have no first level shield (Light Shield), and none of the weapons for soldiers seem to be working with Updated Weapons mods.  Hero's pre-equipped weapons DO have the abilities, so I think it must be something to do with splitting out the tech trees that made them not play nice...

Yes, the mod is not complete yet. The weapons will eventually have UW abilities on them, but I havent seperated them out yet. Haven't done shields yet. Once all the races have their first armor set, I will add in shields as well. I want to hunt down the duplicate stuff. If anyone sees that, let me know with who you were playing.

I don't think any of those issues is from MoreBuildings or Expanded Factions, as they don't really mess with the standard factions much at all.

I was pretty sure it was coming from DF, but I loaded both new mods at the same time and figured I'd cover all of the bases since there are numerous changes from the vanilla game via all of the mods. Both of you guys are doing some killer stuff and it makes the game very enjoyable to play with the added depth.
