Looks like it's been under development for years, since the screenshots have a copyright date of 2006. Hope they manage to finish it up, it looks interesting.

I've literally read every Star Trek book available in the bookstores, and have some cash to burn. Looks like it's worth a go. Just hope the tactical combat is not real-timed...

Honestly, it's hard to look at another space tbs. GalCiv is my favorite game ever, so it would take a rediculously good game to even come close to it. And I'm going to judge a book by it's cover here, it's nothing even remotely close to GalCiv. So hah!

Without even looking at this game I can tell you it is superior to GalCiv, so HAH yourself.

I've been casually following Horizon's development off & on for years now.  I like what I've read/heard about the game thus far, but it's been in development for so long that I'm not going to be hold my breath waiting for it.  Here's hoping, though!

The graphics need loads of work on the cut scenes, they look very dated. Probably not enough races, and the AI would be questionable. I have long awaited a good successor to Masters of Orion 2, my standards are high.

Of course we all know graphics should come secondary to Gameplay, but those character models....horrendous, simply horrendous. I can draw and animate and steaming pile of cat shit and make it look better then those characters...

I'm going to hold you to that when the Dragonlance mod comes out. ;)
