Does converting BIN to Txt slow the game down? And is there a Galaxy Forge for DS mod?

Did anyone experience this before?

Im not sure about this but i do realise that converting all the files to txt seem to make their filesize bigger. Has anyone ever felt that their game ran more laggier after the conversion?

Btw, is there a galaxy forge that uses the files in DS?

Running in Txt will cause the game to load slower. How much really depends on how many files are in Txt.

If you have the latest Entrechement Download for Distant Stars, in the extra folder there is a Galaxy Forge folder will the need files to allow Galaxy Forge to show all the new Grav Wells.
