Is there a mod that increases logistics caps?

I want to increase my limits, ALL of em!

I find that its quite dumb to have just a few buildings floating around a planet, is there a mod that increases more of em? Like maybe 100-200 limit for Logistics?

At least just for your capital planet.

1. copy over the gameinfo folder in your install folder to the v1.19 mod folder.

2. Use harpoes or another bin to txt converter: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/353296 and convert the gameinfo folder in your mod folder to txt.

If for vanilla sins skip step 3.-5.

3. copy over the gameinfo folder in your entrenchment folder in the install folder to the v1.05 mod folder.

4. Also convert this folder to txt.

5. Copy over the gameinfo in your v1.19 mod folder to the v1.05 mod folder and say yes when you are asked if you want to "connect" the folders and no to all when it asks if you want to replace the file.

6. Now you have all the entity files for sins in txt (makes it easier to edit them, use notepad or notepad ++). Create a new folder in the mod folder and give it a name (will be the name of the mod), then make another folder in the new mods folder named GameInfo.

7. Copy over the files you want to edit from the gameinfo folder in the v1.19/1.05 mod folder to the gameinfo in your folder.

For changing the amount of logistics from planet upgrades change the planet(planetname) files and find the line named MaxModuleSlotCount: Civilian (number). (The starting planets are PlanetDesertHome and PlanetTerranHome)

gruntmaster is correct for sins, but for entrenchment you ONLY need the files you are actually changing as the manifests tell entrenchment and diplomacy what files to load, so for diplomacy AND entrenchment your mod ONLY needs the manifests the gameinfo folder containing the EDITED entity's, and as EACH logistics structure uses 4 logistics slots, for 200 logistics structures you woul need 800 logistics slots.

So far, heres what i got:

1: Downloaded the one with Diplomacy pack from MediaFire.

2. Copied GAmeinfo from Install folder into "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-v1.19\GameInfo"

3. Unpack zip file into there. And went to install folder to copy the 3 "ConvertData" files for vanilla, entrenchment and diplo

4. Launched the .exe file

5. Found the folder, press "Convert Folder NOW"

6. Keep getting "convertdata not found for the expansion chose. looked for convertdata?originalsins0.exe and did not find it. Pls copy it here"

7. If i just press Convert The Folder NOW. i get runtime error 5. Invalid procedure call or argument.

Im on windows XP x64 with some of the best equipment in town, runs the game without a hitch with everything turned up.

What am i doing wrong? Why cant i convert the f iles? the conversion is set to txt

the error message that you are getting suggests that you have not double-clicked into the folder that contains the files/folders to convert.

Lol for some reason it doesn't work for the latest diplomacy version, I copied over the latest version of the convertdata relabeled as ConvertedData_Diplomacy1.00 as you have done with the other convert data, and your program won't read the new convertdata lol, just pointing out that bug......

mooster,

the program looks for 'ConvertData_Diplomacy1.exe'. for some reason the program removes non-relevent zeros.

all the files wanted/needed are in the sins modding utilities 1.19 rar on the mod updater thread.

I am currently uploading the latest individual files to my dropbox folder and will post a link to the modding utilities folder when they are all uploaded

Harpo, no offense to your work. But i think downloading the whole Forge Tools set and using the already converted files in reference data would save HOURS.

Still, keep up the good work, im sure many others have benefitted.

Case closed.

The problem is that those files are not only old, but ancient. Having an updated reference for newcomers however might be ood, since converting files seem to be a problem for them.

shuaziod, the main problem with the reference files in the forge tools is that they are from the dinosoar era and have been CAUSING miniumps since sins 1.16/entrenchment 1.02 which is for the LAST 4 patches.

gruntmaster I am preparing rar's of MY references for the latest and will upload ASAP and post links in this thread when they are up
