A question about banning players from Demigod

SD - I think I understand your policy regarding banning players from the game.  So far (to my understanding anyway), the only people who have been banned are individuals that intentionally desync games and proof has been provided by the community.

Will you ban individuals that cause 1v1 and 2v2 games not to be reported in stats?  This is done by individuals so that their stats are preserved.  An example of a player doing this consistently in 1v1 games is AlienWarrior.  I trust that if you reviewed his stats, you would find substantially more games played than are actually recorded if you log hosted games in your database.

Is this a bannable offense?

Would also like to get py4eek banned for his repeated desyncs.

Link to replay were py4eek did his desync thing:

Other occasions were hes cheated can be found at the hall of shame.

Made an extensive post on this guy about a month ago with what it think was plenty of proof to at least look into it but no response from SD, hope you get 1!

Please don't consider this a BAN AlienWarrior thread.  I personally dislike his regular practices, but I'm really just wondering if SD is willing to ban individuals who behave this way.  No point in us getting worked up over people abusing the system if nothing will be done.  But if something will be done, I just want to know EXACTLY what SD needs from us so that people who abuse are dealt with.

Ha, nice... AlienWarrior won 34 out of 34 games. His Winning Streak is... 1 :). Yes, Stardock should definitely have a look at him.

Im not at all, which is why I said that there is a post about him. I hope stardock says something on the subject of banning people because I asked the same question there aswell but no response.

And to add to this thread tho, i really hope SD does ban or warn that they may do so.  This is also because I've seen a large number of people disconnect on citadel/last fortress going down.  They have no idea what they are doing and the game does count as a loss for em (no incompletes), but they are trying..  Kinda funny to see that, but at the same time it shows that without some kinda threat ppl try to abuse exploits to avoid a loss, even those who dont know how to:)... or maybe they simply hate favor points;)

Anywho wasnt trying ot hijack, with Alien i did what i could with the post and now i simply avoid his games, he doesnt bug me but other people continuing to do it or trying to does..

Banning doesn't work.  The game is $7 now.  It costs Stardock way more than that to investigate.

I suggest humilating them via replays.  Or avoiding known exploiters entirely.

Just a shame that the ladder has to be a joke.  And I know that many of us avoid exploiters on a regular basis, but they will easily pick apart any new players... its just bad for DG to allow this behavior.

I wish we could get rid of the troublesome glitchers that play this game. It sucks to not get that hard earned "W" because of a stupid loop hole.
