New rule I started to follow

Never join a game against an Erebus if you don't have Erebus on your team.

Never join a game against UB/LE combo if you don't have UB/LE combo on your team.

It's real simple, and takes care of so much bullshit...

It also seems to eliminate like 90% of the games out there. People are such a lol.

should add:

Never join a game against a Rook if you don't have Rook on your team.

Never join a game against a Sedna if you don't have Sedna on your team.

Never join a game against Rook / Sedna combo if you don't have Rook / Sedna combo on your team.

Never join a game against an Oak if you don't have Oak on your team.

Never join a game against a Demon Assassin if you don't have Demon Assassin on your team.

Never join a game against Oak / DA combo if you don't have Oak / DA combo on your team.

Erabus is just another demigod and you can win without having one on your team.

Might as well just play mirror matches... but which side gets to choose the demigods!

From my understanding most games are mirror matches at this point.

Sorry, but I don't think you quite get it. Erebus is not just another demigod you can win without having one on your team. Unless the player is a noob Erebus.

Mirror matches are the only fair games as they eliminate variance in strength between demigods.  Erebus is overpowered, and bite needs to be nerfed along with mist.   This thread is completely true.

Really? cause a good minion oak can take down an equal minion ereb or at least hold him

Tried it but when I take sedna to support the UB against oak/ereb and our ereb goes brilliant lane, the Ub always decides that he should go spit and run with no ooze until lvl 15+...

This is a good rule but the skill lvl of your teamates matters more

My rules

Don't play games I can't be QoT

Don't play games against premades who don't give sign that they are a premade.

Basically start your own game.

I escalated my rule to Bring Your Own Erebus. I have officially thrown morality and ethics out the door, and started playing the obviously imbalanced demigod. My god, things are so easy! I'd get some wins logged if only people stopped doing that damned invalid game state shit!

Oak / sedna / beast is amazing team that doesn't have erabus and can easily beat erabus teams.

I have to agree with RAWRRRR, Erebus just doesn't feel that overpowered anymore. If you learn to handle him he's not that much of a problem(although I agree he might feel overpowered in the beginning), not much more than the other "stronger" Demigods; Oak, UB, sedna for example.

just because sedna/beast kick ass. of course only if the beast goes hybrid. if not hes a fail.

You might as well save yourself some trouble and say never join a game without a good person on your team.

PREMADE JERK!!!

lol.... just stop playing demigod man. With this kind of rules u wont play a lot. And im agree with  RAWRRRR. Rook/UB/Sedna is a great combo too and u can win without erebus. People who take always erebus are just afraid to try another DG. Bite and bat to espace. Mist if u are in trouble. Nothing special with those skills.

No one would argue that Erebus has the widest array of useful skills available to him. Any enemy LE could be doing any number of builds and they are all viable.  Infinite invincibility is just a no no in video games, regardless of how useful it could be.  Having one ability with a paragraph under it listing all the nasty things it will do to people falls into the same category.  The problem with LE is that he is un-killable (not necessarily a bad thing) AND he can still fight quite well 1v1.  You cannot kill a good Erebus because he has strong hp regen, armor, speed, life drain, slow, armor reduction, invincible mode, and long range teleport capabilities. Of course no real Erebus player would do all of these, but certain combinations prove deadly while providing a sort of stability that you can't find in any other demigod.

True but nothing is easier then a oozing health stacking sigil beast.

Actually I think TB+Sedna+Rook is the best demigod combo ...

Really better than UB+Erebus

TB is only good when he has support, namely Sedna, and the Rook gives the group dps and a good stun.  That pairing is good, but not for a conquest game of cataract.  Sedna would hold her own, the Rook would dominate his lane, and the torchbearer would hide behind a tower through no fault of his playstyle.  Rook/Sedna/Torchbearer combo is great if they all work together in one area (i.e. prison or crucible).  In a real situation, UB/LE/Oak combo can work together and hold out on their own.

Seriously, talk do something. Whats the point of online co-op if no one will talk.

Sometimes I'm playing reallllly high and typing totally blows it.

If we're in a game together and your talking, I WILL be listening and do follow instructions, even if I'm not typing back.

I have no problem with that, it shows some sign of communication, but when I ask a ub to take a the right lane while I grab this flag, and they just stay right there for 15 seconds than come to me. I think communication isn't even in their vocabulary

Woah there, this kind of sentiment is getting dangerously close to playing with friends in demigod.
