Im a noob updates

I just registered i have the original no expansions yet, anyways i have went to the download the latest updates and the only update i have is bonuspack 1.05 sins of a solar empire and ive downloaded it and installed it, and im trying to play online but it keeps telling me that i have the wrong version and telling me to see if i have the most updated version, but like i said before i have and that same download is still there. does anyone on this forum have a solution they can share, or have been in this situation? please help thank you

got to www.impulsedriven.com

download impulse (dont worry, it will not harm the computer, much better then steam)

Impulse is update you to 1.181

You could also by the expansion for an easy $10, well worth the cost
