Impulse work on a Vista 64 rigg?

Hey fellow Sinners, I am building a system (Intel I5 cpu, 4- 6 gigs of ram, Geforce gts 250 vid card and Vista 64 op system) My question is, will Impulse work on my new rigg so I can download Sins and Sword of the Stars and play them on my new rigg using Vista instead of good ol' XP?

Yes you can I have Vista 64bit now but it will be ran as a 32bit game. If you are just building now I would wait for Windows 7 as vista sucks IMO.

Vista doesn't suck despite the bad press, but Windows 7 will be better - it's pretty much the same under the hood with a few tweaks and compatibility fixes thrown in.  And yes, Impulse will run without issue on 64-bit Vista.

ya, wait a few days and get windows 7...

Also... dont... get 4 gigs of ram... thats just sad for a new computer... expecially if your getting such an awsome graphics card.

if you have 6 ram slots, 6 gigs may be ok... (12 = better...) but if you have 4 ram slots, go for 8.

in my experience it does work on v********ta 64 AND definatly works in w7 64 rc & beta. I would also recommend waiting for win7

I think some outlets are offering a free upgrade to an equivalent w7 if you buy vista between certain dates. Not 100% if this applies to retail editions or just OEM though.
