Sins downloads absolutely fine onto a netbook, except that the In-game menus get cut off on the bottom due to the resolution.  At http://www.virtualsecrets.com/acer-aspire-one-netbook.html you can find a way to edit the Program Files to reorganize the menus to fit.  Go to the website and scroll down to Sins.  Then you can just copy/paste the scripts into your games files.  Follow the instructions.   I can now play on my Netbook |-)   The website also has ways to trick out your netbook too.
