This doesn't mean that they are the best player you have played. It means who is the person who makes you go "CRAP" when you see their scouts appear next to you at the start...

For me it used to be Violater666 or Raging Amish back in the 1.05 days when I was still learning...

Awww, hack, that's so sweet. I miss those days myself too.

JJ and Tyr are the guys I fear the most though. They're like squeezing jello. They always pop up somewhere alive and well. There are few times I look at a map, no matter how bad, and say I'm screwed. But if I have that annoying start where I have one phase lane leading to a lava with two extractors, and I see I'm next to one of these two and they have a magic start, my first thought is like you said *CRAP*

The main reason back then is the community was so much smaller, DT was not as established as it was and you and vio had these bad ass reputations for killing everything and anything...
