Converting Bianary to TXT

for a complete idiot

OK guys, I'm pulling out what little hair I have left.

I've tried every conversion tool I can find, and everything in the forge tools, and I can't get anything to convert an .entity file from Bianary to TXT and back. And i've read thru all the threads pertaining to converting files, and about 80% is gibberish to me.

Can someone please give me a step by step, and please bear in mind i am NOT a programmer...lol.  I only speak English.  Thank you!

just jim, I am currently writing a little utility to do EXACTLY this. it is currently in early beta state, and I am planning a few alterations to it to improve the future flexibility of all of my utilities

I am not sure, but isn't there one already? Its called Sins Editor... don't know the link but do a forum search on here
