How do you mod SoaSE through Notepad?

I've been using notepad to mod other games for a while, but SINS, when even I open a file for the game, I get nothing that will change the game. I get "#%$ags {", what is that?! Please help, I could use. By the way, I don't have the internet, so no Galaxy Forge.

More than likely its in binary, You will either need to conver them to txt or use download the referance data from Forge tools.

and  I think you sould use notepad++, it's much more friendlier than notepad...

and yes, download the forge tools |-)

the converter and the reference data are in the forgetool... so you have to download it to mod sins... use pendrive or be creative :D
