New Kol Voicing if intrested

This is 12 new files i created for the Kol Battleship. This folder can be used as a mod or add the 12 files to a mod sound folder that you are currently using . Tried to make the captain of the Kol sound a little more aggressive. Well maybe alot . Try it out and let me know what you think. You can also check out my page at filefront under Arrowhead21, there you will find some more voice overs i am doing. Any thoughts, idea's or, new sayings would be greatly appreciated.

I made a couple more voice mods this week .One for the Sova, and one for the Akkan. Tried to do something differnt in each one. One of the Sova's attack orders responds with a general ship alarm, and one of the Akkan's on selected orders has a response from a woman radio officer. Any way if you try them out let me know if there getting better or you just don't like them. Go to the link below and you will find all of my voicings there.

Is there a way I can preview a few of them before I try and I download them and attempt to put them in the right spot.

..What is the right spot btw? I know I will find it but others may need a bit of guiding. ^_^

An easy way to check them out would be to extract the file into your mod folder for sins 1.15 or entrenchment 1.01 and enable it then start a new game and build the ship and just run it around to see what it says or your gonna have to extract the files which are in ogg. format and convert them to wav. format and play them in your windows media player. ah ok, it its alot of trouble to set up sampling then I wouldnt worry about it. I have downloaded all of them anyhow. To try them, I figured it might help ppl get a taste of what they are downloading before they do it.

Hey, i just tried them all out. Here is my review:

Kol: I know you were going for some hardcore Captain. But the way it talks remindes me of a Varsari. With the long SSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssss.... Like what he says, Maybe next version make it more crisp

Marza: I couldnt understand anything. Once again reminded me of a Varsari. If anything, Marza should use some 'colorful' words. Alot. Next version, maybe make him sound human?

Sova: Ok, I really like this one. Alot. Great job. Like the alarm. But everytime it sounded off it was cut off. Only complaint I have.

Akkan: I liked this one alot too. The referance to the Empire eveytime is rather annoying to me. But thats me. If your going to referance something maybe us the Coalition instead of the Empire. Liked the attempt to add the females voice. Wasnt convincing though. Im sure next round you get it right!!

 

Overall I think you did a great job! Thanks for you hard work and look forward to hearing more!

Thanks for the review !! .........That helps me a lot. I just needed imput from someone else who actually plays the game. The marza was intended to sound like the "Grim Reaper" .I thought the idea was cool at first but don't really like it now. I hope to have a new one soon. Any more ideas that you can come up with would be greatly appreciated.

yea the voice on the akin needs to be more convinceing (i would gladly help considering i am female but my microphone = dead) and coaliton or federation sounds beter then empire
