I think I was the only one that didn't watch the DNC  last night by the show of hands at my huge Bible Study today. 

I did manage to see just a bit of Ted Kennedy's speech and all I could think of for some reason was helium.  I still can't get over the adulation of the Kennedy's especially this one with his dark past.  It's like he can do no wrong. 

Anyhow, can I get your thoughts?  What did you think?  I heard about the crazies that came out, you know the "make love not war" people and the "pagans" and whatnot but didn't really hear much else. 

I've been gone most of the day and our local paper is not good at all about giving us much National News. 

So what were your impressions?  I'd love to hear what you thought good and bad.  Do you think anyone was moved one way or the other?  What struck you the most?  How did Michelle Obama come across? 

I'll probably watch the news tonight to get their lowdown but you know how that is.  They only really tell you what they want you to hear.

I have an excuse. I moved about a month ago and have yet to install my sat box yet so I have no TV at the moment. DVD's galore at home.

I refuse to watch either convention.  All they are is a bunch of pomp and circumstance with absolutely no purpose.  Nothing new is ever really said just a lot more hot air in a political world that is already filled with more than enough hot air.

I gagged on Olberman & Matthews before I could get there. :sick:   Leave the little girl alone & direct your ire at them.

To think I actually loved Olberman on ESPN - I'd go out of my way to catch his riffs.
