Where can i find the Sins of Solar Empire Key in my Regedit?

Hi guys
I hope someone can help me out.
I just bought the Collectors edition online via direct download so i dont have a cd case etc.
Well it works like this you pay with your credit card or what ever and get redirect to a site where they have your key and links where you can download the game and the update. Stupid me thought well i guees they also sent the key via email so i downloaded the game and update created my forum account and entered the serial when i installed the game.
After the update though i had to restart the computer and i didnt copy the serial into a word file because i thought they sent it via email well they didnt so now i cant create my online account aka not play the game online which kinda sucks.
Here my question.
Does anyone know if the Serial is saved on your computer/in your regedit and if so where i can find it?
