Blook control in textures...

So i have succesfully creted both data and normal map and also color map, but the pbroblem is that there is so much Bloom the ship glows too much. Way to much. my Data map doesnt have Aplha chanel and im not sure how to add one much less how to control bloom with it, what defines the bloom effect, what color and so on, i dont want that much bloom. anyway anyhelp will be apreciated.

Alpha channel controls bloom, the whiter an area is, more bloom you will see.

In Photoshop, add the Alpha channel by selecting the Channel tab and clicking "create new channel" button at the bottom.
By the way, if you ever have a mundane problem such as this, it always pays off to check out the built-in help. Not a criticism, its just that I know few people do that. I learned 3DMax from scratch from its built-in help.

Well actualy I would of done that but i doubt photoshop would tell me what collor to use for sins, i try to use help as much as possible (why i didnt ask anything for xsi mod tool except couple of small questions) thanks though. that helps

No problem. Oh and, alpha channels are always black and white. So you don't have many color choices. ;)
