Entity Modifier PlanetResourceOutput effect?

Does anyone know what the modifier PlanetResourceOutput actually does?  I have it applying successfully to a planet and the bonus is displaying on the planet's infocard but I cannot see any actual in-game effect at all.  I've watched stats for tax income and resource extraction closely and over time and neither shows any change in the slightest.

Is this modifier currently broken?

10%, but I tested with 50% and still saw no change in any income stats for the planet or it's resource output.

Humm very odd, the only place I can see it used normaly in the game is in PlanetCripple but I can't find anything that uses that ability, does anything? The other two parts of that ability work fine (build speeds) but even at 100% it dosn't change a thing to a planets production. I even tried it on a metal extractor and it didn't change the rate lol. I guess its 'bugged'.

Hmm.... Odd indeed. Well, at least I am not the only one who's tried it and now found that it has no apparent effect.

Thanks for at least verifying that something is strange with this modifier.

Yeah, I ran into the same problem you did. Heh, even asked the same question you did, and got the same lack of an answer. Glad to know I'm not the only one for whom this didn't work...
