how to edit .entity file?

i'm getting a headache...

sorry about this stupid question and noob at modding this... i've been reading threads lately about modding and i read editing .entity files...

but to no success... i can't find a way to edit them... i only tried notepad and wordpad... but when it comes to .entity it's just not in text format... lol

Well first make sure you have the first files. The files that came with the game arent in the format. Download the refrence data here:

Next When you click on the file to open it select a word program and it will turn the file into a text document for editing.

i found the files... reference data for v1.04... am i going to replace that with this or do i have to convert it to binary again... lol


there is a convertdata folder and it include an .exe file... i don't know it's use but i tried to execute it and nothing happens... lol
