The Battle of Gethsemane-Strange Indeed

This is a follow-up to my thread from yesterday entitled "Clogged Furball." I've found that I do have an autoreplay of the entire sequence, called AutoRecord-04130008.

Can someone please tell me (1) WHERE that is stored on my harddrive, and (2) HOW can I post it here. If I get that info, I'll post later today.

I think people may be fascinated by this. I was intrigued to be able to watch it at high speed, from a different high-level perspective, in the replay. There are some differences from my recollection in the earlier thread:

1. The battle took place adjacent to the Vasari homeworld, not on it.

2. It took MUCH longer than I remembered it--decades or centuries.

3. When watching the replay, keep your attention focused on the planet Gethsemane and neighboring planet Belgorod.

4. Notice that my armada actually left the battle for awhile, jumped to the adjacent planet, then jumped back, and the incredible standoff continued for a long time.

5. Note that my cap ships kept leveling up, although no ships were destroyed in decades or centuries of nonstop battle.

6. Everything else in the game apparently was working fine.

I'm REALLY curious to know what people think of the battle!

Apologies for posting this in three threads. This thread here really could have been simply appended to the Clogged Furball thread, but please forgive me, I was unreasonably exuberant to realize that *everything* is automatically recorded in this game and can be easily replayed, zipped, and shared. That's really very slick!

You can find my very interesting "clogged furball" situation on the following replay:

http://rapidshare.com/files/107836397/Furball.zip.html

It's only about a 400K file.

Watch what is happening on the planet Gethsemane and its neighbor (in the red Vasari solar system).

Use 8X with everything revealed. The really interesting stuff starts after a few minutes. Watch what is happening with all the fleets at Gethsemane, especially after my second fleet with lots of flak frigates turns up. Also notice what happens after I get tired of the standoff, jump to the neighboring planet, and jump right back.

There are several threads on this apparent issue with Sins 1.04: /General/Clogged Furball, /General/The Battle of Gethsemane, and several related threads in the /Technical forum.

I went to a lot of trouble to figure out how to post this, because I think the situation is quite fascinating. Curious for feedback.
