But, there's a slick story behind that; back in Feb'06, i had logged in outa simple curiosity without having a copy other than a demo of GC1... since, i bought DL (then DA shortly thereafter) back in 10-07, the active status has been cranked up a bit more, i'd say. Community wise, i'm regularly visiting cuz it's VERY worth it... i find the gang to be fun to chat with, the development(s) of my MOD helps to maintain "enthousiasm" too.

What i find really amazing though is that whenever i'm on site there is ALWAYS a very high number of guests swooping in like crazy; just this weekend that peaked up at more 9000++, all of as sudden!
There has to be Bot Creepers in action, somehow. ;)

Will member 5,000,000 (Ding--Ding--Ding) get the golden carpet threatment and full blast lifetime copies of GC4+expansion(s), SinsOfaSolarEmpire-2 through 8 and plus, Demigod_B, everythin' else, and so on?? From the futuristic new Hyper-Super-Star-Do(u)ck. Sorry, couldn't resist.

For me the most fascinating number to obtain would be; How many players are relatively active playing DA or even, DL -- and How many of those does SD expect (wisely & logically) will actually pick TA or any further versions?
THAT i'd be curious about, somehow! :)

Hmmm seems as good as a place as any to ask this, but Kryo will the ranks return to the forum instead of the member number.I kinda liked having Veteran there for all to see......2,449,518 just doesn't have the same ring to it.

in general, they were handed out by the mods and admin to players that have made a contribution to GalCiv, the MV, or the forums, above and beyond the average player.

Posting so I can see mine. Should be low, registered back during the GC1 days.

Also played the OS/2 version WAY back, but no idea if there was a Metaverse back then or not. If I had registered then, I'd REALLY have a low number :)
