[Help] removing neutral ships

I want to set up my mod so that all those neutral ships are either gone or set to pirates instead of tech. Is there a way to do this and if so what file do i need to edit?

You can remove the things added to a system automatically by double clicking the planet and unchecking "Use default planetary template". You can add groups from the menu on the left that applies to that system, so you can tell it to put pirates there instead, whatever you want.

Could i do that without using the map editor and just in the gameinfo files?

Also im having trouble actually finding my maps when i try to set up a single player game, my guess is that they're missing something and thats why they wont show up.

I am sure you could change that editing the file directly, but you'd have to do it for each individual planet. I suppose a Find and Replace function in a txt editor would help. But you're probably better off just using GalaxyForge. I haven't tried so I don't know exactly how to go about doing it.

Make sure your game is patched to 1.03 and you've recently downloaded the newer version of GalaxyForge. That should fix your map not showing on the list in-game.
Failing that, edit the file and look at the top where it says "Version Number" if it says 0, change it to 1.

The definitions of all the Local Militia fleets are at the bottom of the GalaxyScenarioDef.GalaxyScenarioDef file, but i would recommend reading through and understanding the file a few times first because its picky and probably the most likely file to cause a crash
