Anyone want a MOD Wiki?

As we're all starting to create MODs and already have MODs put out, I thought that I might start up a MOD Wiki, what will only be on here are tutorials on how to create the MOD you want. So if you're looking how to add a ship, make a new planet, and more then this is where people can add their tutorials. It will be completely open for people to add to however if you come across any material that is questionable then it must be flagged. I'll be starting it off with just SOASE though most likely add more games to the Wiki too so it will be like a database of MOD tutorials for many games.

Anyone up for this or even perhaps become a moderator for keeping the pages clean and easy to read?

There is a solid SoaSE wiki already set up - anyone can add a "mods" section to that and get going. I'm not so sure we'll get one set up officially by Stardock or Ironclad.

This won't just be for SOASE and it'll be strictly based on Mod tutorials not what Mods are available. I know you could add a Mod section to the SOASE Wiki but it wouldn't really be tutorial based.

I think it would be a good idea, I don't have time to do it myself though. Is anyone else going to? I made a short tutorial on creating new ship icons/buttons, its around here somewhere. Anyone feel free to put it into the wiki or modify it without credit.

The EncyClanPedia isn't just for SoaSE though, and we've already got the backing of over twenty mod groups, including the backing of the former Battlefield 2 modders who've come to comprise Kaos Studios, which is releasing the game Frontlines: Fuel of War next week.

I'm very flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of people with big ideas such as yourself, so if you're really fired up about making a large scale Wiki, but don't really want to fund it, or don't know where to begin. You could easily find a home on the EncyClanPedia.

This invitation extends to anybody, so if anybody happens to be interested, I can be contacted Here (You don't need to be registered to post here.) and on X-fire under the screen-name Dairuka

Well I own an unlimited dedicated server myself so I don't need any funding luckily which is quite a big help. The only question is really knowing what Wiki software to use. Also as for what I am starting to do on my site the Wiki might end up being a good idea to implement.

I was thinking of doing this initially anyway though wanted to extend it here too, though if you're going to be having an extensive list of Mod tutorials for multiple games and software then that would be great. Though I think I'll go ahead with this anyway. Thanks for the offer.
