Advice Please - Video Card

Video cards are not really within my expertise, so I'd like some advice. I was considering purchasing a GeForce 8600 GT from: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3048552&Sku=P450-8650 ($79.99 after rebate)

I am currently using a 7300 GS and system is comprised of a 3.4 dual core with 2 gigs of DDRII ram. The OS is Vista and I use a 22" Widescreen monitor.

If I were to purchase this card, would I be able to run the game flawlessly on high, or atleast above the low settings I am using now? Thanks a lot!

Ironic, one of the reviews on newegg :

"This replaced a 7300GS card...I'm not a big gamer, but even playing around w/ the occasional demo just wasn't impressive, so this was a big upgrade, easily getting up to 2X+ the frame rate. 7900 cards seem to perform slightly better than this one at stock clocking, but if you MUST have Vista (BLEH!) for DX10 support, this is a great card for the price (ranks a 5.6 in Vista's performance eval)."

Geforce 7900 GTX 512 here which was last-gen's highest range card. Runs the game great on everything maxed out. However, remember that the game does use lots of RAM too. I have it sitting at 1.3 GB of ram in use just for the game, and it pegs BOTH my processor cores (I have a dual-core processor) at 100% so it seems to have been written with threading in mind.

All of those other things can also affect your lag / gameplay about as much as the Graphics card does.
