Failed to Register issue...? Any advice

Hi all

I'm not ranting about it - things happen. Any advice on what may have gone wrong?

I'm in the UK. Purchased SoaSE via Paypal and received the CD Serial # immediately - not the transaction/order reference. Tried to register via SDC but I get an error about Failed Registration & I should check my key & email details. Done that - they all look okay.

Did you use a different email address on the store than you do on your SDC/forums account? If so, you will need to contact support@stardock.com and request an account merge.

I do not see your Sins registration under the account associated with this nickname. I would suggest contacting sales@stardock.com or support@stardock.com to have this merged as Kryo suggested.

I contacted Sales & indeed I had used a different email address when first registering Stardock. The Sales department were very helpful & consolidated the two email accounts.

I have the same problem. My Stardock account - setup when I purchased GalCiv II uses a different email address than my PayPal account. I was logged in to my Stardock account when I placed the order (TGN Subscription) but it still associated my tokens with my PayPal email address. I have a support incident open and expect it will be resolved shortly but there should be a warning on the purchase page about this problem. I probably would have used Visa if I had known in advance.

Yeah absolutely. It would be nice to at least know that the email associated with Paypal is the one used for the registration of the Games and not that of the Stardock account you are logged into.

I have the same problem in that my Paypal and Stardock account have different email addresses.

I've put in a support request, but it's been 2 days now and no response. What's the average turnaround for support on these issues?
