Fourth Stage: beginnings and endings

Warning: This will be scattered.  Bear with me, or feel free to stop reading.

-The move to New Hampshire really went better than we could have even hoped for.  The help from my family was invaluable.  When I think about how hard it would have been had they not sacrificed their vacation to help us, I can't even begin to think about how overwhelming it would have been.  I have a pretty amazing family.

-Board scores are back, everything is in order, I start as a doctor on Monday.  My first day of call is Thursday.  That freaks me out.  I am excited, but also apprehensive about the responsibility and the lack of home time.  No problem though, this is what I want to do, so I am glad to be here.

-Lebanon is small, but no quite as small as I feared it would feel.  Still, there are a lot of things I am going to miss about the Triangle.  But this will be a good place for us for the next 6 years.  The people we have met are amazing.

-I have been trying to enjoy my XBOX 360 as much as possible, and I have to say I love it.  I finished Halo, thought it was a great game.  Am working my way through KotOR right now, and am very impressed.  I just finished my third trial and am now officially a Jedi Padawan.  Every geeks dream, right?  Oh, and Burnout Revenge (the only 360 game I have so far) is amazingly addictive and fun.  My brother and sisters enjoyed it as well.  Plus, XBOX arcade is great.  I love to play those little arcade games whenever I want.  Overall, I love it.

-With my decreased free time, coupled with my current lack of blogging energy, I don't expect to be around here too much.  I will peak in when I get the chance, but I suspect it will be pretty spotty for a while.  Who knows, maybe things won't be nearly as bad as I am expecting.  Prepare for the worst.

-I thought I would try to come up with some fancy article for my four hundredth, but my blogging brain has been on hold for a while, so this bit of dross is all you get.

Good to see you settled and back.  Dont forget the trivia, and for your next article, try writing about 5 embarrassing moments as a child.  Someone already tagged you and most have done it.

And finally, you will find out the biggest difference between Lebanon and the Triangle in about 6 months!

Glad to know you settled in alright and the move went well! Before my move from NY to Orlando, I thought it would be weird not being in a large city, but I've come to realise that it's just as large in activities and lively so getting used to it was pretty quick!

Remember to keep your head low if anything is flung your way!!

BlueDev,  hang in there!  it's difficult to move AND start your chosen profession,  you can do it though!

Remember to keep your head low if anything is flung your way!

,  this is fantastic advice forever!  I got to remember to use it too!  even though it's intended for the good doctor

I did my four hundredth about a week or so too, and couldn't come up with anything good, either.

Nice bit of dross though... good luck on Thursday. And congrats with everything!

Sorry to get to this so late, mate. I hope today turned out to be everything you expected and more. Glad to hear you're enjoying your new home AND the new Xbox. Oh yeah, and from what I know, you do have an amazing family 'ceptin' for that ratbag brother of yours, but you can't help bad luck sometimes, ay?
