Variety of bugs

Running 1.1 Beta 2

1. I found when I loaded GalCiv2 and restarted Siege that though the altarian style was showing, human was selected on the style menu.

2. Grammar: Altarians, "Dread Lords is powerful..."

3. When the Dread Lords conquered some of my forward planets in Siege I never lost that planet's LOS.

4. The maximum number of modules displayed on the starbase upgrade screen is different from that on the details screen.

5. I was upgrading a design (option selected to NOT strip components during upgrade) now I had a higher level of miniturisation. I was using 45/53 space but when I moved an eight space Impulse engine, this changed to 48/53. Cancelling this and starting over, I was able to place an eight size engine on the design and save it.

1. Not exactly clear what you're saying here, you mean ship styles?

2. Good catch

3. Known issue, fixed in beta 3

4. I've never noticed that, but I'll keep my eye out for it.

5. Since parts get larger as the hull has more space, it sounds like the space a part is taking isn't updated until after you move it. This is a fairly large issue and I hope it gets taken care of.

wait, wtf is the use of researching miniturization if the parts get......larger?....as the hulls get bigger, dont we research that so we can throw even more guns on our tug boats?!

Basically, miniturisation is shown on the build screen not through smaller components, but through a larger hull.

@Dewwar

It sounds like 1 was fixed according to the Beta 3 changelog (note the fix about incorrect style on the appearence screen).

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark with 4 and say that the upgrade screen is telling me how many modules are available according to my level of tech, while the details screen is the real restriction on how many I can have on the starbase. Both, I believe, should be the latter.
