Invasion Population Spike

I'm aware this has been posted before, but I was wondering what the status on the population spike issue was. I've got before-and-after saves, featuring a jump from 10b to 420,000,000b after invasion. I'd like to help as much as possible to resolve this issue.

A lot of people have been noticing this issue with 0009 and 0100, including me. I know Brad has asked for savegames reguarding this problem, so i'm sure Stardock is working on it. It's a bug with Information Warfare Invasion. I'm hoping we'll see a mini-update-patch say, 0101 to fix this.

So Stardock guys, how comes the squashing of this bug?
