A Super Bowl for Two

My boyfriend’s longtime favorite team is vying for the Super Bowl trophy tomorrow, and since it’s going to be extra special for him, we decided to make a small bowl celebration of our very own--opting not to go to go out to any pigskin parties.

On the menu we have: Chili, potato salad, (which he will make), mini sausages, deviled eggs, sandwiches, and Steelers Brownies (just a little something I wanted to make in honor of his team). We hope to enjoy the game, enjoy the commercials, and enjoy the food. Oh, and of course, a Steelers win wouldn’t hurt our celebration, either. ;)

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone! If you’re not planning to watch, well, have yourself a good end of the weekend, anyway. =)

That sounds like fun. I probably won't watch. My husband just went out of town yesterday. If he was here, I would watch it with him but since he's not I'm watching 24 season 4 on dvd. I'm at 9 pm now.

Are you going to dress in yellow and black? Face paint? Yellow hairspray? Go all out then take pictures and post.

Hardin's favorite team is also the Steelers. If they do not win, I do not want to deal with the cursing he will be doing at Coach Cower through the TV set. Let's cross our fingers for a victory!

My b/f will probably end up buying the whole show on DVD...I hear it's good, but have yet to see it. On a side note, I've become a big fan of Prison Break, and can't wait for it to come back next month.

It's funny that you ask that because a few minutes ago, I was searching my closet for anything black and yellow...no luck. Maybe just black will do.
