Game feels very intuitive compared to the first one but producing exotics can still be a hassle imo. For example you try to build a starbase fast but don't have any exotics because some research ate it, now you have to wait for the exotics to be created and then for the build time. Therefore i propose an auto que for exotics which produces new ones after it reaches a set amount, the amount can be set by players. It would dumb the game down for people who want a bit more comfort in sacrifice for less optimization while building their empire.
If you are in favor of this general idea but the solution is bad then other ideas come to mind.
A partial completion of structures/ships (like for titans in the first game) as a possibility.
Separate the exotics for each use case. For example: 1 for building ships and offense upgrades, 1 for structure and defense upgrades, 1 for science and utility upgrades, 1 for special stuff?
Maybe even a universal one but more expensive like quarnium, which can be used as substitute if forced with holding down a hotkey?
Hold down a key and produce the same exotics which the order just used, it could be even permanently toggled on/off if needed?
Thanks for reading.
