Will alpha/beta participants (pre-orders) get Steam keys when the game is finally on Steam?

I tried searching and reading around, but the threads I found are full of arguing about platform politics. I think that the answer to my question is Yes, but would like a Stardock confirmation.

Apologies. I didn't ask my question well. If we have the Epic edition, would we have to buy it again to run via Steam or GoG?

We won't be providing copies to other platforms no. However, we do have our own mod manager and multiplayer servers that work across any/all stores.

You can add any game you already own to your Steam account.  Since GalCiv4 won't be using Steam's Workshop for additional content added by players you won't be missing anything by running game via Steam.

I think it's only ships right now - but custom races, conversion mods, etc will ostensibly be located here also at some point in the future..
