Any update on the Dread Lords/Dark Avatar DLC?

Some of you may recall that there was Dread Lord/Dark Avatar DLC coming that would include some new campaigns and add the Drath and Korath to the game. @Frogboy seemed to indicate that it was cancelled because of a few whiners. There seemed to be some clamor from the Gal Civ fans to release it though. Has there been any update on this yopiv? Personally, I really want to see it. The campaigns in Gal Civ 3 have always been good fun, but more than anything, I want my Drath back! Maybe the fact that Drath/Korath weren't folded into Intrigue might point to its eventual release?

Adding these races to the Intrigue DLC would be a great addition. Not only would we get more content but it would get more eyes on the update at a later date. Warhammer Total War 2 did this recently with the release of the Queen and the Crone and a bit later that added the Kharibdyss update to said DLC.

Well to begin with these dlcs were like this because they wanted to introduce old campaigns. I would rather see new campaigns.

Why anyone would want to see a return of the korath baffles me they were one of the worst species in galactic civilizations 2. My guess you want someone who could do poorly. For playing I thought they were underpowered.

As far as the drath the concept worked better than practise. They were great at starting wars just not fighting them. Having a war profiteering instigator was a good idea to spice up the game just have to make them better tacticians. Why the drath why not, have a new race who are instigating ear profiteers.

This is a little deeper than that. As far as I can see bugs in the game that people are mentioning are getting fixed just not, on everyone timeframe. People were complaining that they were making dlcs instead of fixing bugs when in actuality they were it just takes time, sothis was interpreted as the reason we got badreviews is because of dlcs

From what I've heard pretty much the entire GC3 development team is currently assigned to SC:O, and will be returning to GC3 after SC:O ships in September.
