Crusades 2.33 Planets with strangely large populations

Hi,

In my latest game (which, a separate issue, I've just finished with 79 colonies, a  population of 2887 and a final score of 30) there are a couple of captured planets which have very strange population totals.

In particular, Drengi which is class 19, claims to have a population of 340.4 though the Drengans were pretty backward when I eliminated them. Has anybody else had this and do Stardock need a ticket or is it some issue with number types or some such?

Cheers,

Jon

I have seen this also.  It really hamstrings the Drengans with low moral

I found a bug where invading a planet with Information Warfare tactics causes the population to be roughly quadrupled after the invasion

Ah yes I did use Information Warfare a few times and presumably on their capital so I imagine that's it.

Many thanks,

Jon

I haven't yet seen this in 2.33, but then I'm only partway through my first 2.33 game.  I have seen it on earlier versions, where a captured planet has a population way way above the supposed population cap.  I wonder if invasion methods other than Information Warfare could also have the same problem?  I tend to use biological warfare instead of Information Warfare, which is why I'm wondering.
