Hi everyone,what reserch do i need to discover so my ships can go anywhere on the map?.Also What are the best techs,reserch is best when playing the Terrans as a noob.Thanks in advance everyone.This is a great community btw 
You can research various life support modules and add them to ship designs to increase the design's range.
You can also extend range by building starbases, as the maximum range of your ships is calculated from the nearest friendly planet or starbase.
Remember also that life support modules do stack, so if you put more than one on a ship, you can extend the range quite a lot.
The game's default trade ship, for example, comes premade with like 10 life support modules, and it can go very, very far away from your planets.
