Galactic Civilizations III v1.02 Opt-in Available

The second patch for Galactic Civilizations III is now available as an opt-in. This patch adjusts the balance, improves AI priorities, fixes bugs, updates the UI, and speeds up performance.

To opt into the patch, do the following:

  1. Open your Steam client

  2. Right-click Galactic Civilizations III, select Properties

  3. Select the Betas tab

  4. In the drop-down menu, choose “Opt-in”

  5. Close the properties window

  6. Your game should patch automatically

I don't know if this is a thing with new updates to the game or something, but every time the game gets updated my games get SUPER laggy.

After closing the properties window, I had to go into the "downloads" area and press an up-arrow icon on the right side.  It wasn't 100% automatic to patch to 1.0.2.
