1. Allow me to change my symbol while the lobby is full, having used symbols greyed out.

2. put an in game statistic on a character's profile on ICO that shows how many times they have captained a team, or any other simple form of recognition to improve team forming time.

I don't think it is possible to create an easy way of viewing how often someone has captained a game.
